Collector quality from the private collection of Patty Bush, former owner of Doc’s Harley-Davidson. This 2007 50th Anniversary Sportster has never been started and came factory direct. It is finished in black with laced wheels, red and gold accent striping, gold-tone tank medallions, and an embroidered two-up seat. Harley-Davidson introduced the Sportster in 1957 as the XL, replacing the K model. It became one of the best-known names in motorcycling, and by 2007 it had been in continuous production for 50 years. To mark the milestone, the company built the 50th Anniversary edition as a limited run of 2,000 motorcycles worldwide, with a serialized nameplate on the handlebar clamp and a gold “50th” emblem on the tank. Anniversary models like this tend to be sought after by collectors, and a never-started example is harder to find than most.
